Tall girl

One more thing from today...this was the second time we were told that our little girl has long legs!! Could it be that Brian and I somehow might produce a tall little girl???

Moving along

We went to our weekly OB appointment this morning to find that Tera was 4 cm dilated. That means that she has made it 2 cm in one week. So, our doctor (whom we think is awesome) sent us to the hospital to be monitored for contractions and to have an ultra sound. Nothing much in the way of contractions. Ruby is now measuring about 4 pounds and 10 oz which is pretty good. Tera is still on bedrest at home since she is only 34 weeks. Looks like Ruby will be here before we know it!

Today is my neice's 16th Birthday! Since I am on bedrest we cannot be there to celebrate so I thought I would give her her very own post.

home sweet home

this is going to be short and sweet.
I got to ciome home last wednesday! I was very very happy. Just need to stay laying down most of the time to ensure that Ruby doesn't come early. Only a few more weeks to go!

Baby Shower at the Hospital

My fabulous friends Hollie and Angela threw me a baby shower this weekend here at the hospital. We had a lot of fun and I was exhausted by the end of the day! Here are some pictures from the shower...

While I have been here in the hospital I have had lots of visitor's. Today we had a packed room with my 2 sister in laws, 3 nephews, 1 neice and my parents. Kim and the kids were on their way back to Indianapolis from Alabama so they stopped by. We decided to turn it into a family affair in the middle of the afternoon.

Brian, his parents, my parents, and my friend Lindsy worked hard this weekend on the nursery. They painted the walls and finished most of the shelving. Looks great! Can't wait to see it myself!

While I have been trapped in the hospital Brian has been working frantically on fixing up the babies room. Last weekend he worked with his parents on building recess shelving. They look pretty good and I can't wait to see the finished product. Here he is showing off his craftmanship.

Getting to know the hospital

On Friday the 27th I (Tera) was re-admitted to the hospital because my water was close to breaking. I will be in the hospital on strict bed rest until at least the 14th of August when they will re-assess and hopefully send me home. It hasn't been that bad...I have had lots of visitors and other things to do such as reading, watching movies, surfing the internet and calling friends on the phone. The nurses and doctor's have been pretty awesome here.
