Headlines
We couldn't resist posting this picture. Our neice Lauren was on the cover of a magazine in her home town. Check out the caption above her to the right. We keep laughing about it. Maybe we should send it to Jay Leno's Headlines.

Long Awaited Easter Pic's
Ruby got this dress from Tera's friend Missy and her mom before she was even born. It is adorable and in the folds of the ruffles there is embroidered a story. We were so excited for her to wear it. Thanks Ballew's for the dress.
We also threw in a picture of Ruby with her pirate shirt from our friend Smith (Sarah). :)

Reading Time

We read to Ruby one of her many books everynight. I thought I would post one that we really like that my Aunt Nancy gave to her last summer. "You are all my favorites" by Sam Mcbratney (same person who wrote "Guess How Much I love you"). It is about three little bears who are wondering if their parents love them as much as their siblings. The Papa and Mama bears talk to each of them and reassure each of them of their love and why each of them is their favorite. It is kind of hard to put into words but it is a really sweet book and really good for families with more than one child. So, the Laffin's recommend this book. Stay tuned for more book reviews. :)

Happy Birthday John!
I forgot to mention in the last post that today is my brother John's Birthday! Happy Birthday John (even though you probably don't check this). Cute pic with he and his boys.
6 months old and 1st snow
In honor of Ruby's 6 month birthday we got her a bunch of snow. :) Well, maybe we didn't have anything to do with it but we thought it was pretty cool. It snowed a lot here in Louisville last night and this morning. I don't know the final count but somewhere between 6 and 12 inches.
Brian went out this morning with Luna to play in the snow. Luna loved it and ran, jump, slid, and frolicked in the snow in true doggie fashion. Ruby and her Mama watched from the door but still enjoyed the show.
