Thunder over Louisville

This past weekend we kicked off the Kentucky Derby Festival with the rest of the city at Thunder Over Louisville. We were crazy enough to take Ruby with us but had help from her Uncle John and Sharon. Here are a few pics from the evening

First Haircut

Ruby got her first haircut right before Easter. She did a great job sitting still on Mama's lap while the beautician cut it.

Celebrating our 3rd Anniversary

We celebrated our 3rd anniversary (which was April 1st) by staying the night at the Brown Hotel here in Louisville. We had a relaxing evening at the restaurant in the hotel and even got our dessert for free since it was our anniversary.

This is the amazing dessert that I got...some sort of mocha souffle with a bailys cream sauce. It was delicious!

18 Months

Ruby 1.5 years old

Ruby is now 18 Months! She went to her 18 month check up last week and is in the 55th Percentile for height and weight! She continues to be a great eater and sleeper. Lately she has really enjoyed playing with her new Lego's; going to the park; and playing with buckles or "snaps" as she calls them. She will find a stroller, high chair, or car seat wherever she goes and work on the buckles until she gets them snapped. She talks all the time although we can't always tell what she is saying. Here are some recent pictures.
