Baby Telia is here

2 days old
Telia Abigail was born on the day that we were wanting since we found out we were pregnant. Although it wasn't essential that we had that date it was neat that God blessed us with a fun birth date for both our girls. Ruby's is 9/8/07 and Telia's is 11/10/09. Makes it pretty easy to remember their birthdays.

Telia came into the world weighing a whopping 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. She was born at 3:38 pm with zero complications and a relatively easy labor and delivery. I might post more details on that one later.

Here are some pictures of the last couple of days. Telia looks a lot like Ruby but with less and lighter colored hair.
A few minutes old with her parents

Feeling pretty good most of the day...I really can't complain

Big Sister Ruby was very excited to finally meet Telia

Meal Plan Monday

This week is extremely tentative due to the fact that I could have a baby at any given moment. I didn't really do the recipes that I listed last time so I am going to try most of them again.

Monday: Chicken in a pot recipe that I didn't use last time

Tuesday: Spaghetti Squash with Spinach and Raisons

Wednesday: Pasta with broccoli

Thursday: leftovers

Friday: Pizza

Happy Birthday!

To my sistah Kim! Here's hoping I don't have a baby on your birthday! I would prefer that my husband were in town first :)

Scriptures for Labor

Getting ready to have this baby (not today just soon) and remembering these promises:

“Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Is. 40:31

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Josh. 1:9

“But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work.” 2 Chron. 15:7

“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Ps. 121:1-2

“From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.” Ps. 71:6

“In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid.” Ps. 56:11a
